At this 9th edition of the DART Festival, you can enjoy the documentary Warhol & Vijande. More than Guns, Knives and Crosses, about Fernando Vijande and his relationship with the legendary Andy Warhol.
The documentary revives the figure of an essential and unjustly forgotten Spanish gallery owner. It premiered on 31 October in several cinemas across the country and is now available in the festival programme.
The event will be attended by the film’s director, Sebastián Galán, and the president of the Suñol Soler Foundation, Rodrigo Navia-Osorio Vijande.

On 4th December the Fundació Suñol presents the exhibition Warhol & Vijande, a date in Barcelona. More than Altered Images by Christopher Makos, an exhibition that explores Andy Warhol's visit to Spain in 1983 with gallery owner Fernando Vijande, and presents 20 portraits that photographer Christopher Makos took of his friend and collaborator Andy Warhol.
