Performance by Alicia Narejos

Eva Lootz presents in Walking with the river her latest creations influenced by her stay in Japan in 2019. The drawings are full of semi-automated figures that show her daily life and the environment that surrounds her.

Alicia Narejos is a dancer from Murcia with a degree in Choreography from the CSDMA who is starting her choreographic work. As a performer she has worked with Antonio Ruz company (National Award 2018), Stocos company (Rome Scholarship and Marie Curie Scholarship) and Otra Danza company, among other independent choreographers. Winner of the First Prize “Tiempo de Danza II” and finalist of the contemporary ballet award “Kairós”. As a choreographer she won the Third Prize at the “Creajoven XIX” and was a finalist of the Madrid Choreography Contest “Me, Myself and I”. Her works are mainly interventions in venues and collaborations with musicians, including members of the Orquestra y el Cor Nacional d’Espanya, Neopercusión, CoroDelantal, Espai Barroc, Il Parnasso musicale and several pianists. Recently, she has collaborated in the 150th anniversary of the Academy of Spain in Rome and participated in the “Congreso Internacional Desnortadas” UMA (Màlaga). She has a scholarship at the “Residencia de Estudiantes” in Madrid, being the second one granted to the creation of dance.
