Pablo Picasso, Paul Eluard. A Sublime Friendship

With the work Busto de mujer con blusa amarilla (1943) the Fundació Suñol joins the exhibition Pablo Picasso, Paul Eluard. A Sublime Friendship, organised by the Museu Picasso in Barcelona and which can be visited between November 2019 and March 2020. The exhibition thoroughly explores the friendship between the painter and the poet, which began in 1935, through a thematic and chronological tour based on poems, portraits, illustrated works and photographs by Man Ray and Brassaï. The two artists shared points of view and political ideas, and experimented together with the interrelationship between painting and poetry.
